One & Two
One & Two is a twin-line typeface available in nine styles. Two single-line sets, independently named One and Two, unite to form an elegant double line style that slightly intertwines to bind the letterforms together.
Created to exude a timeless, yet contemporary elegance, One & Two is ideal for branding and headlines that require detail and a sense of quality. However, when only the single lines are used the type deconstructs and becomes beautifully abstract, while remaining useful and legible.
One & Two features a smooth rounded mono-line style with rounded counters, creating an overall friendly and accessible feel that remains creative at its heart.
Usage Notes
Due to its detailed nature, One & Two is most effective at display sizes. The fonts only feature upper-case characters, and so is not suitable for typesetting galleys of text.
The One & Two family features six single-line font styles that, when used on their own, create a unique rhythm of letters. However, when paired these fonts allow for up to 24 combinations of line weights. Use layered combinations of font styles to create an interplay of weight and tone. This simple layering will also allow for the allocation of different colours to different lines to form unique combinations.
The fonts include ligatures for specific double letter pairings for occasions when the spacing might feel too open. These ligature pairings are double A,O, T and double V. The use of these ligatures will provide a greater sense of connection and unity in the twin-line styles.
